Zenon presents the official launch of its latest compilation - "Sea of Vapours"...compiled and mixed by its North American label Dj - Nokturnal (Darvin Knorr). Featuring fresh tracks from the cream of the Zenon crop, this 2 disc package contains one cd smoothly mixed for your home listening pleasure, and another with the standalone tracks. After nearly a decade of performing Darvin is honoured to commit his Nokturnal incarnation to the Zenon sound: smooth, intelligent and most definitely nothing but psytrance. Darvin is excited to represent a label which is home to so many incredible artists and we are excited to launch it here in Melbourne!

I wish I could be there for the big night... make sure it's a ripper!!!
It has been a blast working on this project, so many incredible tracks to choose from, it was impossible to go wrong pulling this compilation together. And now having just heard Shadow Fx and Tetrameth both play their tracks at BOOM, this release is ready to rock dancefloors big-time.

somebody's already put the track info for the mixed disc on freedb.org, makes it a bit easier to know what track on 2nd disc i'm rockin out to... |

I agree with Darvin - I really enjoyed working on the album too, it was quite a challenge and I'm really glad it's getting such a good response. It's a cracking set of tracks in a totally unique style. Darvin - great selection!
I'm just a bit pissed off at being left off the album credits and all the forum promo, despite being asked months ago how I wanted to be credited, and despite promises from Tim that he'd correct the situation. Call me vain but working on this album was the highlight of my mastering career to date, and a mention here and there wouldn't go amiss. It's not all just about the money. It would have looked much better for allof us had Tim or Darvin mentioned it themselves - it wouldn't have taken much - but I got tired of waiting. I fully understand your position, and I wish I would have know so I could help (you pm'd me but only after posting this which is unfortunate). Because this is the first I have heard of this there is not much I could have done in advance.

Zenon's shit is indeed very sorted, and I'm sure the only reason Tim took so so long to say anything after I pointed out his little mistake was that he's been totally busy making and playing more amazing music for us all. I might well have been a little oversensitive about the whole thing but as an artist myself I'm very aware that if people don't know what you do, it might as well never have happened. Hey ho. I'm looking forward now to putting this whole thing behind us and getting on with shit. All the best to Tim, Darvin and Zenon, and - if the whole experience hasn't left you too scarred lol - hope to work with you again in the future!
