your question is very general so you will only get general answers like, good mixing skills, good choice of sounds... |

altho im not a big fan of zenon and progressive, those farts imo are ways ahead in psychedelia than any other psytrance progressive label..

Pitch modulated(on the lower pitch range) saw wave with filters of ure choice(for the desired sound) with heavy reverb and perhaps little distortion.
Depends what kind of sound ure talking about. But if you mean the muddy kind of Knorry sounds this is one way to do it

one word:
SYNCOPATION
seriously. study it in depth. there is no rule to the sounds/timbres themselves - other than the farts, really - but there is a definite pattern to the arrangements, and it revolves around intense syncopation.
also, get used to implying melodic content through a few notes, maybe even only 3 or 4 placed throughout 8 bars (!), rather than dense arpeggios.
i love the zenon sound. it's not my favourite to dance to, actually - i find it doesn't maintain much dancefloor energy, at least during zenon-heavy dj sets. sensient and shadowfx live are a different matter - they rocked hard, but they played around a lot and made it funky. however, when i'm at home and tripping out with some buddies, sensient and the hayes brothers ALWAYS make it into the musical rotation. stellar psychedelia...

1)Great production,it looks like the producer used hard synths here to get the fat sounds. If you know what I mean.
2)One has to wonder how the live set of this looks. That is,if you know what I mean...
