I was hoping that a few people could give me a listen to some examples of there tracks where they have used the vanguard or the z3ta for BASS.... it don't have to be a full track, i am just curious to hear what other people's bass's sound like using these synths.
thanx in advance! |

Yeah, wanted to ask this one for a while now - what are the pros and cons to build a bass with dedicated bass synth ?

I mean, I tried for about 3 months (yes, I work very very slow) to build a bass with Bass-Station and never came close to the one I'v got with Albino...

I think that Novation Bassline, is not THE tool for basslines after all. Vanguard can make tight basslines if you tweak a bit, and u can also add fat fx (It's got a better filter section). U can also try Cameleon, for more deep/progressive basslines, as you can play around with morph, and make twisted stuff.

i use Audio Realizm Bassline, it is the most simplest bass vst, but the results r sick, the sound editing is amazin there, it is not complicated at all so after like 15 min of just playin around u get wat u need i agree that Novation Bassline is not the vst for bass, i used to use it, but the bass was pretty cheezy and it was just unclear,
