Someone tested it?
I heard that there are a lot of bugs in it...!?
I don`t like the snippet, but I found a video
with some cool sounds from the z3ta+2:

Well, ahem, perhaps someone I know has given it a run through, ahem...
They say it sounds cleaner out of the box than its predecessor, less of the high-midrange scratchiness and a generally tighter and more professional sound, and some of the factory presets are startlingly close to all sorts of classic psytrance riffs...
But there's no 'WOW' factor, and a few presets glitched out in Ableton.
It sounds great though, just didn't really hit the Right Spot

So after further auditioning of presets, the possibilities began to show themselves and the sounds kept bringing smiles, the factory Sequences preset rack is full of classic riffs from all sorts of styles that brought back good memories, and heavy with classic riffs from old psytrance favorites, ALMOST, they're all slightly different from teh originals, enough to avoid direct copies.
MUCH cleaner than the original z3ta+, all the complaints that made it hard to enjoy have been smoothed over.

Ill have to get back to you about the filters, and I haven't gotten the x64 compatible version of Sylenth yet, but I would say that z3ta 2 can pretty much be used for the same sounds as Massive. Massive tends to lean more toward drum and bass type sound while z3ta 2 tends to be more melodic, at least in my ears.
The only issue is some of the presets spike the CPU absurdly, in Ableton as well as Renoise. I haven't tried it in Reaper x64 though, so that might just be the 32 bit version having issues with win7 x64, but its not cool, and better get fixed ASAP. Although even when it overloads it never gets dangerously harsh.

That's weird. With my z3ta+ 1, i get these loud harsh noises randomly with some presets. It never got fixed after emailing cakewalk a bunch of times. I really hope that's not the same issue.

I had the same problem with the first one too, so far though theres not any harsh noise really, just a CPU going nuts...

ok i got the damn thing... stil a great synth.
BUT.
the filter still sucks
still no midi arp export import.
osc sync is still shit. (prophet style sync leads)
midi to velocity (filter/volume) is still a pain.
gui is nicer and easier to work on and the sound is exactly like it was.
