My girlfriend called me a troglodyte at one time...
I asked what it meant and she said, caveman!
I thought it was brilliant cause at that time in history when people were troglodytes, there were no countries or no written history, more herstory..And of course im interrested in shamanism, and they started it underground in their caves they say.. they who know. 
when i work alone maybee i call myself cavedave, but thats a little cheesy!

OH I forgot to say I DO have an alias with my collab buddy Cyzum. We are ZERO DIVIDE, well cause anybody who took simple math know whats happens when you try to divide by zero. We came up with it randomly. I still am stuck on my solo project alias though. |

really cool topic guys !
I have with one friend a chillout project, we spin some dub and it's sub styles and "try" to produce some psy-dub/space-rock..lol..so for this project we gave the name of InDubtaveis that's a portuguese word that means undoubtable (with no doubt, got it?)
for my alone project more progressive psytrance oriented I came with a new name these days...I'm a member of a religious group that drinks the sacred liquid ayahuasca and we have very strong links with the Moon (from where we get all inspirations and learnings)..so I thought that sounds cool the name TeacherMoon..as she is my teacher !
weel that's it..

ps: for me the coolest names its from some old goa/psytrance projects like :
- green nuns of the revolution
- germinating seed of doda
- mittelstandskinder ohne strom !
- california sunshine
- klangsthraler projekt (this I typed wrong for sure!)

speaking of long names...
my collaboration with my friend who refers to himself as the narf dargler is called
"the name that came with the brain" -------fullon
most of my aliases are random
facehead was made from when I dj'd in this punk band and had one of those cheap white plastic masks but i wore it on the top of my head so when i was looking down and tweaking knobs it looked like my second face was looking at you it freaked a couple people out. this is for my solo project awhile back I decided i didnt like facehead and wanted to change it I was working a long shift little sleep and wasnt even thinking of a name and blurted out loud out of nowhere MASSEL OSSEL!
my co-workers looked at me wondering what my problem was. so i changed my name to that for one song my cohorts were disappointed with the change so I went back to facehead but the song I made while under that name is called The Massel Ossel Phase. now a facehead song watch for it

My artist name was basically kind of an accident. I had just finished a small live mix of some tunes at the time and was designing a cover for the MD I had made of it for no real good reason. I was trying to think up a name for it and the word "jikkenteki" (experimental) happened to be in list sitting next to me of Japanese characters I was going to have on a test the next day in my Japanese class.
I actually had switched the character that would be like the "-al" in experimental and traded it for the character for "enemy" (has the same pronunciation), because mix had some of my last attempts at hard DnB on it and it had to be "hard" somehow, but that was short lived. 
Anyways, I ended up using it as my artist name for a couple of on campus type gigs that happened right after. I always intended on changing it, but after a couple years it just stuck somehow.

My dark psy alias is "Noized", i took it because someone told me that a track i had produced sounded 'noised/noisy' but in a nice way.
My fullon alias is "Acid For All", this one way a random idea with containing the word Acid. And i like the message
