Its not just me. It is a collaboration between me, Simon Posford, Michele Adamson, Andrew Interchill and Alexander Interchill.

Alexander Interchill was only 2 years old at the time of recording and its his vocals you hear on the tune.

This weeks faves;

Mayas Dream by Edson X & Ma3 - Raja-esque flutes over hypnotic percussion. Best on headphones where the higher pitched drums pan rapidly from ear to ear using a nice delay effect. This one sucks you in. Smokaholic 4am indeed.

Also on VA - Kumharas Vol. 2, released last year, check out Oued 909 by El Calife - opens with a really great vocal sample over acoustic guitar, gradually building up to a nice dubby stomp with spicy middle eastern flavours and some very gentle psychedelic squidging.

All time faves;

Rumours, DMT, Dorset, Hooray and Blissful by (The Beloved) Shpongle.
Tea Daze Remix, Atom and Smoked Glass by (The Blessed) OTT

God, I even have track nicknames *sigh*

By non-Twisted artists -

Aura Borealis by Ozrics, Govinda's Dream and Jagannath Bhupali by Suns of Arqa, Manzanilla by Vibrasphere, Inner Horizon by Professor Trance, Ayub's Song from Afrocelts..... oh I could go on and on and on.....

Anyway, I'd like to welcome myself to the forum.

Peace and love to all 3;~

****New Shpongle, Michele and OTT albums coming soon YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE*****

Actual tune: Kick Bong - Little Fairy

maaaaan this is awesome, the little kid on this one seems to be talkin to you, but even forcing myself I can't picture where he's at neither what's he trying to express, each time it looks different, painfull, colorless... a deeply profund dub trip, for sure a 2005 masterpiece, imho.

this kick bong tunes really surprised me, not only this one but many others... it's an album you can't passby

for the ones looking for a dark tunes as I read on other topics, check out Kick Bong - Darkeion

cheers!

Simon gave him a microphone with loads of whacky effects on it and they got him to speak into it. When he heard his voice coming out of the speakers with tons of delay and pitch-shift on it he freaked out and they couldn't shut him up. He was laughing and squeaking for about 10 minutes...

Thankfully they remembered to hit record and that is what the track was based around.

Hence the name.
