Gaye Bykers on Acid were funny as fuck. My friend Neil used to live with the singer. Anyone remember the movie they did. I'd love to see that again...
Only really getting into psy properly recently, one reason for signing up here was to learn more. Not too sure about which artists I like yet, although I know what my ears like. There's a lot to sift through though, and it's hard with my limited funds.
Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, and System 7 have all done stuff I've really liked in the past. There's a Hallucinogen LP I've got called (I think) 'Twisted', and it's very, very good.
D.A.V.E the Drummer and Rowland the Bastard are my favourite AcidTek producers. And DDR (the original!).
Freq Nasty, B.L.I.M., and DJ Zinc have done
some of the coolest and most original music I've heard in the last couple of years.
And I still love Spacemen 3 and anything related to that band. The best psychedelic band ever bar none. "One nation under a groove". |
