fm 7 is excellent for pads and leads. the Orange Vocoder is a great, if somewhat simplistic VSTe.           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

Interesting, I never found Bitcrusher to have much practical application. Perhaps I've been using it for the wrong types of sounds... I'll give it a whirl again

scorpion vst makes very nice leads and tbl is one of the best for basslines......

fruity kick is a nice one too.....

Definitely agree with Hanky, the bitcrusher brought in totally new reality of distorted and crunchy sound. I like it a lot, usually use it while I am munching some Tacos, so it makes the inevitable 5.1 crunch - u can't hide from this one!!!

Xscept of this 1 - Reaktor and the green monster from Reason 2 would b my choices of heart           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

yep, Maelstorm

and yes it works reasonably good with 1000 / 512 so it will do for 900 / 512 i guess           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

The bitcrusher effect is very nice but it's already heavily overused.
Alien Project & Astrix are overloaded with it.
Too bad, i really like to use it           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

that cannot be too bad then.. like anything good its been copied and milked to the death..but it certainly kept me interested in this music!!and provided a 'fresh' approach to a style that a music that can become too formulaic

Where is the next Asterix!!!

and here i was thinking in my limited engineer knowledge that the fx of choice of all these brilliant producers was delay..

It's not too bad but it's very unfresh.
If you wanna some really fresh and interesting sound check out Granulizer in Fruity Loops.
Some really wicked noises can be done there.
And you'll be surprised everytime           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
