Don't think its useful to subdivide genres so much, but of course its a subjective matter, and so it's mostly about personal opinions.
When I started to listen to psy people were talking about 5 genres:
Minimal
Suomi
Tech-Trance
Progressive
full on
It was before today's "Dark issues" arrive.
Back to topic, I enjoy music in all styles, but I buy and play mostly progressive, full on and ambient stuff. Of course I have some few Tech releases also. I have no strictly minimal or Suomi albums, but have some tracks that came along in some compilations and enjoy listening to it now and then.
If I had to choose a style, I think I'd go for full on, what I enjoy the most is twisted full on like Prometheus, Hallucinogen and/or some more "Goa/old-psy" like The Infinity Project, Filteria, MFG, and many more. New full on labels releasing music that usually pleases me are Neurobiotics, Nano and Alchemy.

Been really digging stuff that fuses Trance, Rock, and Hip Hop and uses vocal percussion instead of drums.
It's soooooo outside the box...  |

Look up at the name of the Thread. He is specifically asking about SUBGENRE's of our favorite Trance, and since we are on Isratrance I would have to speculate that he is talking about Psychedelic trance. I don't know, call me crazy, but that seems logical to me.
Which brings me to another point. I always hear the same Old, Worn out comments regarding the classification of music and how we shouldn't do it and bla bla bla bla bla.

It is what we call COMMUNICATION. We communicate in words so people can have more clarification in what we are trying to describe. I don't care what anyone says, I see the big difference in the music made from let's say Son Kite and the music that is made from Zik. If someone asks me what kind of music it is; I will try to describe it the best I can, with more elaboration than just calling it Psychedelic.
Where the problem lies for me, is not so much in classifying or categorizing music, but it's more in the wrongful classification that many make when describing a track, (which leads to many artists discontent when people classify their music, in a way that they don't see themselves as producing) Which is obviously a pretty big grey area, due to it being of a subjective matter.
btw Full on, I wasn't trying to demean you or anything of that sort, it is just what i believe, so sorry if it came out that way.
