I can't really name one person or project. I think it changes all the time. Many of the artists who I used to consider "the best" no longer make music I really like. Others that I used to think were just "ok" have improved. Music is evolution, and never stays still. The moment the music stays still is the moment the creativity is lost. The best and most creative music comes from different people all the time.

Dragon Tales rewired my brain!
Can't get pick a single producer though, listening tastes change and so does production taste of an artist. Possibilities of that syncing perfectly unless you're a mindless fan is slim to none.
But yes, Zolod for what he did in his lifetime. Evergreen psychedelic sound.

I have a lot of favourites and Dragon Tales was good...but The Great Unknown LP and their live set at Sola Luna 2001 were the things that made them my favourite of all time. I was into trance long before that, but upon hearing that album and being on the dancefloor during their (then) sets was so inspiring that made me stop whatever it was I was doing in my life back then and go to university to study audio tech in order to make music.
Peace out.
