Protocultures first best tune:

Fav protoculture track...first I heard that made me interested:

This might not be FullOn but....the muses rapt made two great tunes....spiritual healing that everyone knows about and this one:

Great tune....thought I dont get why its a 6 min buildup and than the top quality melody lasts for a minute or soo... :-(

Made me happy in 2008 that there actually existed new talanted fullonproducers...never really followed up with other great tunes though...

Digicult...blasted on the scene in 2008...then...after that...I dont know...

DNA...high quality tunes in 2006....then followed the lowquality generic crap route...

Jirah....always decent quality...

E-mov...probaly one of the best FullOn albums last year...nice stuff...

Sesto Sento - Primi TB (Aquatica RMX)
One of the only remixes within the same genre that I find better than the original. Awsome song.

(oldschool)

(oldschool)

(youtube audio quality = )

(only partial track)

(honestly not sure if this is really 'Lift Me Up' but whatever, it's this track)

Ultravoice vs Ziki - Zik Zak (Cosmic Tone vs Visual Paradox Remix) (NO VIDEO!!! )

(one of my oldtime big favorites!)

XSI vs Massive - City of Angels (NO VIDEO!)

BIOTOUCH - Music Makes The World Go Round (NO VIDEO!)

Cosmonet - Get Fun K (no video!)

(excuse that intro - it's not on the actual track)

I could go on and on and on...

I tried to include an assortment of what I have been loving lately, and the kind of Full-On that really drew me into the style.

I might come back and post more later, enjoy!           http://www.soundcloud.com/djKAHN

there is alot of full on being released, and i think a smalls sub section really is really outstanding stuff - dacru records, nano, alchemy, vagalume, liquid records and neurobiotic to be more precise.

but theres a certain magical quality that i find lacking in most music today, to understand what i am referring to, listen to cosma's cusanam, protoculture's melody machine or something lighter like sesto sento's y2k. i guess with clearer more prestine production, we have lost a somewhat more innocent playful feel. not to say that its a bad thing, but its just one aspect i miss from the music. my 2 cents.

but listen to any of the old classics like melicia's 1st album, or either intergalactic or cyber cartel debut albums - and you'll be in for a ride like no other

melicia - genesis

cyber cartel - final oblivion

cosma - cusanam

astrix - feel.s.d.

Exactly. It might be good mastered and technicly good but where did the musical feeling go?
99,9% of all fullon today just sound simple and boring with no feeling whatsoever. Shouldnt deserve to be called "trance" if you dont float away into the music.
