wowowow guys whats the problem its like i will aks what vst is your favorite or what do you prefer logic or cubase. does that mean that i am going to still your cd's and make the same sounds? hey monno , maybe you have virus too... cause if you do or a nord or a q than we all just going to throw ours away. 2 options one, you dont trust your talent that much so you keep your sounds to yourself cause you cant make from them something of your own. ( and do not tell that you only use a synthesize wave and from it you make all your music.... ) 2 you are just a cheap guy that ate snaks quaitly...
its a place for learning and sharing. you dont like it? dont go in the thread..
usually i sign with bom but you 2 discust me.
bom for the rest.

well my post was not meant to be hostile at all so don´t start throwing mud jacky. i too use samples from everywhere but i prefer mainly to work with synths cuz here there is a chance to make something original as oposed to using cd´s.
and just becuz i have a nord and a virus doesn´t mean that i´m gonna be sounding like everyone else. originality is the key here and sampling is a big part of any electronic music genre but it all depends on how creative people get with them same as with synths. the difference here is that a virus or a nord can´t be downloaded from the net virtually free of charge. you can however download sample cd´s from the net, see my point.
if you are starting to make music and use a lot of cd´s chances are that before your music become of releasable quality someone else will have released trax with the same samples(unless u really fuck around with the sound that is)
be original! this type of music gives us the chance to make something new and different sounding and there are no rules, so use what you like. i was just trying to make a point with sarcasm guess that didn´t translate.           Mastering available here:

first, of course synths are better, but also with samples you can change and move and make another sound from them just like from the basic base or lead or pad you take from the virus and change it to sound uniqe. second my deep apology for being rude. guess i didnt get your spirit right.

Is there anybody buying this stuff around here?:D

It starts to listen to some sounds sounding the same in different tracks especially loops from Distorted Reality collection !!

If Eric Persing finds this out some labels will have problems, these are also matters of discussion and information for the people who plan to release music with AKAI pirate material !!!

I guess this is not Off Topic though

Nuno

BTW interesting Thread.....

Jaky you could have a point but when you were rude you completly lost it.
Mono you're completly right on your point, music is (or should be) about beeing original and working with the tools you have not puting tools working for you.
And Nuno you're also hiting a sensitive point here, but remember this sample insue exists since electronic music exists.

From my point of view the thing is people who make music need tools to do it and those tools are:

Sample cds
Synths
Samplers
Mixing desks
Software
Computers
etc

Now the question is does everyone who has these tools uses original licensing?

Hope this is not off topic!!!!
