Well if we are dreaming ... I would have to start with a new room. One that is accousticaly designed to be very dead and have no surfaces reflecting the sounds from the monitors towards the listening/working area. A big pro console like the fully automated SSLs or maybe a Midas live desk. A pair of the biggest Genelecs flush mounted in the walls and some B&W Nautilus for mastering. Oh and as we are at it, a fully matched full range set of 14.2 surround speakers. Maybe a pair of Alcons audio speakers (With the nice ribbon tweaters) for playing REALLY loud.

There would be a large live room with drum and vocal booths. (Sounds like I need to move to Galaxy studios )

2 DAWs with those nice tripple screen LCDs (dual Opteron FX based PCs, 4G of DDR ram, A nice RAID 10 fiber channel disk system based on 15K RPM SCSI disks etc etc). I would be running Sonar 3.1 as a main sequencer. All the Waves, NI, PSP, Sonitus etc plugins available. Both systems would have Matrox Prahelia-512 cards (To control the tripple screens) and 4 fully expanded RME cards.

Synths wise I am allready well stocked up (Andromeda, K2600XS, Virus B, Pulse+, MS2000, FS1R, Z1, DrumStation, A5000) but I would also like some Clavia gear, a TB 303, an SH101 and a big analogue modular system.

I have quite a bit of outboard processors (DBX, Drawmer, Lexicon, Boss, Yamaha, Focusrite etc) but I wouldn't say no to the following: Orville, KSP8, Manley, CraneSong, Avalon, Prism, Tubetech, Toft etc ...

Ah well. Keep on dreaming dude.

Why buying tons of equipment?

For the blinking lights of course!!

I suddenly realise I forgot to mention microphones. Add a mixed bag of microphones to my wish list.
