Kinda getting sick of the Reverbs Ive been using and want to find new ones. What are you favorite reverbs? Would be cool to break it down by what you use it for, i.e. fav reverb for percs, fav reverb for leads, etc..
Also, anybody use SIR, the free one?
Ive been looking at the Waves IR-1 too, it looks dope but seems realy slow.

Waves IR-1 is a beast. so much control.... yet such a huge cpu load. one instance = 9% of my resources i think its time to upgrade!

Waves RVerb for warm rooms, TrueVerb for bright rooms and special effects. Yamaha DS2416 Early Reflections algorithm for ambiences. IR1 for that Lexicon sound (can be a bit 'static' sometimes though, depending on what you're putting through it)

guys I tried the IR-1. Everytime i move a knob, theres a 2 second delay and silenece before the new setting adjust and audio is heard. is this normal?
or is my DAW a piece of shit?

Beside the classic Rverb and Trueverb, i use more and more the Wave Arts Masterverb 5.

I like it very much. I also tried the R66 and it is also a nice one. But for the last track i used the ArtsAcoustic Reverb and i think i will use it some more times in the future.

Conclusion:

MasterVerb 5
ArtsAcoustic Reverb

TrueVerb and Rverb of course, also for early reflections.

But my most used reverb has to be the ClassicVerb on the Powercore...

sir is an interesting convolution reverb i used it a lot. I like waves true verb and natural verb.
IR1 seems to eat a lot of processor and i have trouble getting it to load wavs as impulses.
