your computer is low on virtual memory.... what???

hi everyone
a new problem ... and i need some help. I keep getting this error sorta message while running cuebase and fruity loops... says
your computer is low on virtual memory.windows will try and extend the virtual memory on your computer..
can someone explain to me what exactly this means... before something serious happens...

start>control panel>system>advanced>performance tab>settings>advanced>virtual memory>change>initial size and maximum size set to the same value (if u have 1024 ram set both to 1024 the same if u have 2048 but if u have 512 ram set the initial size to 512 and maximum size tou 1512)than press set and restart
if this want fix ur issue get ur self more ram !

that means your physical memory (RAM) is overloaded and windows is loading it to your harddisc (virtual memory)..
so i recommend to buy some more RAM, because virtual memory is very slow!

don't forget to make sure that you have adequate diskspace for the virtual paging file ...
