I like your selection Mesq and Elad, I am addicted to that kind of sounds lately, perfect music for the morning sun
Good to see a track from Cartoons in Mesq's selection, they are one of the most promising young acts from Macedonia, definitely something to watch for

If your playing to a crowd not familiar or comfortable with trance. Your probably gonna get a better response by playing stuff that they connect with, what other music will be played?

If they are playing techno or minimal I would go with electrypnose's new album, nothing like his dark nighttime stuff. Ocelot's dream selector was a good call. if they have been listening to breaks, maybe the mood deluxe and eat static. If its been more eurotrance, I would play full-on and goa

your the dj, you have a expectation of making people dance, not satisfying your ego.

Nice point there mez. The thing is that it's not a big party, so i'm not playing for a crowd, just my friends.

They will be playing mostly german techno and minimal all night long, but asked me to have some trance on the morning. They don't listen to trance usually, but as I said, enjoyed some sessions at boom festival.

My ego would be very disappointed if they wouldn't dance or have a good time. So to satisfy my ego and myself i've better play something they can enjoy ;-)

I'll check electrypnose!

a great dj must conect with the dancefloor 100%
but also he must mix his own vision into the party , as well lead the dancefloor and not drag behind the other djs and what they might know or not.. be the new braking boundries sound           www.sattelbattle.com
