i like the new direction.it might be very diferent to the old style, and hurt peoples feelings most devoted fans, but at least no one can accuse them of not trying to make something new and diferent.

I've got the guitar part for Evil and Harm, Dorset Perception and Khatmandu down, and a few Ott / Umberloid/ Shpongle tracks on bass. Would be cool to collaborate with someone too, if only to make the sheet music.

true, in the end artists shouldn't listen to their bickering fans and should create what inspires them, but to me this seems like an attempt to appeal to a more mainstream audience and doesn't feel psychedelic at all.

Yeah. I get that feeling too. Add in that Simon has been pretty vocal about Twisted's financial condition due to piracy. Make sense he might try to appeal to a broader audience since his traditional supporters haven't brought the cash the label needs to continue. I really do hope this song doesn't sum up the entire album. |

I think this is likely right. And I can't say I blame him. A number of very good electronic musicians have produced commercial music to pay the bills, and who am I to judge? Personally I'm not really connecting with this tune either, but I don't really like much in the way of rock music to start with. As long as Simon keeps making interesting psychedelic music on the side, I'll be happy. |

To be honest I liked most of the tracks they played at their concert at Ozora, but I didn't like Ru's posing at all.
Also the direction of "Night leads me astray" just doesn't touch me. But they are free to do whatever they want...
