Simon sounds very nice on the guitar !
Ruu sings with a lot of emotion and the two of them just flow together naturally.

very nice.

I like the direction that the Younger Brother guys are going with ( based on the latest videos ) and I hope that the new album will indeed be more organic and natural than the second one.

this “Younger Shpongle” combo track can work very nicely as a hidden song in the end of the new Younger Brother album…

Just simon on the guitar, Ruu on the Vocals with a nice reverb and maybe some nice warm keyboards in the background..

sort of a semi-acoustic version

+1 with everything you just said           mmmmmm... ambient

Why not?

I think it is wonderful that such a talented man like Simon Posford could influence the pop mainstream and hopefully take it into directions that are much more interesting than the processed crap coming out now-a-days.

I'm looking really forward to the Younger Brother EP out this weekend, and hopefully a new album with this style.

This clip is really nice, reminding me a lot of what psychedelic music was about long before it was turned into pure electronic dance music!           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

So what you're saying is that you can't enjoy non-electronic music? You're missing out on a whole lot of awesome music my friend!            - The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he's like a real shaman... he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest.

That vid made me to try out a Celtic Cross cover.

Very nice. That tune never grows old for me. I was bummed that they didn't include it on the remaster.

That sounds great, it's one of my favourite tracks from the Celtic Cross album

Is it a hard track to play on the guitar?            - The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he's like a real shaman... he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest.

The hardest part is figuring out the strumming by just listening to the track. The track is medium-difficulty to play. It has dreadlocks all over.           Goa Goa-trance & Psytrance parties in Oslo, Norway:

Still think this sounds too much like a Coldplay song, It lacks the Younger Brother touch IMO.

yeah I can't say I agree with the direction YB has taken here, coldplay is a good comparison to this

just recently saw them live and its a shame that ruu seems to have taken over this band. It was disappointing for people around me who were new to YB to think that ruu was the leader of this band, when really he was added on to appeal to a more mainstream audience.

Thats my take on it at least, but I was never a fan of vocals in electronic music so I'm biased. I just hope they get back to the real psychedelic spirit of the Flock of Bleeps days eventually.

true, in the end artists shouldn't listen to their bickering fans and should create what inspires them, but to me this seems like an attempt to appeal to a more mainstream audience and doesn't feel psychedelic at all.

I'm just a stubborn old school fan though, but I don't see myself liking this new style anytime soon.
