they were sell-outs since flock of bleeps came out. The early compilation tracks were the only true shit. just kidding.
in any case, respect for them for playing what they like..you don't see many artists taking such big steps from one album to the next and this only shows creativity, it just happens that they gain huge publicity by shifting to such musical style but that's only good. Unfortunately some of us are not fond of this new style,
listening to epic hair now

I think, whether you like the record or not, they should be applauded for having the balls to make the record they wanted to and not just churn out a paint-by-numbers fan-pleaser.
True.
I'll also add that they really didn't break any new ground with this direction either.
It's certainly their right to produce whatever they want, however I wonder why they chose this quite mainstream, "done by many that are just as good, if not even better" direction?
Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those that don't understand the artists' need to evolve, but evolving into your average pop- rock band in a sea of pop-rock bands isn't really much of evolution in my opinion.

Well that further pisses me off. You'd think that those of us who supported the album long before it's release might get the "Deluxe" version instead of the standard. The total standout track on the album, and it's not for those who pledged. :/ Come to think if it, I haven't received anything except the download link for the standard album. Has anyone else who pledged and bought a CD, shirt, etc received theirs yet?
