snares or percussions ?

they take a huge amount of the spectrum so how to bring them in the mix without bringing up the peak too much and still have them strong in the mix?

snares are not covered at all compared to kick and bass.

i add reverb and some sidechain to synth parts(group) compression or brickwall soft limiting ) helps .

as for percussion full stereo seperation really gives wideness and space although maybe punch should be in the middle.

snares always get masked in synth parts people really need a sollution for tha snare problem           http://soundcloud.com/magimix-1/chilling-forest-whispers

i would never refuse to have some tips on:
- making digital sound, which is cold by itself, more natural and live
- colouring equalizers and preamps
- recording live musicians
- room acoustics improvement
- mixing acoustic music
- mastering electronic music
topics which i am researching recently are parallel compression while mastering electronics, limiters and tape saturation plugins, and other fancy stuff

Need to get better at tightening up my embouchure and getting used my new drum's bass pedal so I can play more consistent, double bass fills and breaks.

Trance wise, I've never been happier with how I get things sounding nowdays, mix wise and mastering wise. Just need to find more time to make more tunes and would like to make some more funky square basslines.

And use my own drums to record breakbeats and fills, hat patterns, always wanted to do that, but I just got a drum kit after 11 years! It's all going to change now

Peace out.

musical harmony in a complex composition.A composition of many melodies or many tracks not with the same copy/paste notes.
It's not that I don't know nothing about it.
I don't need to look somewhere else when writing in a particular note or mood. But any info more advanced info on this is always interesting to me.          https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

intros are my greatest problem. they always sound weak compared to the rest of the track.

second to that is doing a good mix with mediocre speakers (no studio monitors, but very good sound for listening) in a room with shitty acoustics.

As already said: Time!

But production wise:
Most problems with creating good cutting leads and sfx.
My leads are very often too dull/lush

second problem: song structure...but I am improving there already I guess....           My first track:

What is life and why are we here?

XD

No really...

My problem is speed, if i take too much time for a single track i end up not liking it and moving to another, so if i manage to end it before a couple of weeks its ok, but if it takes more then i give up.
