guys, which plugin has the preset (or method of synthesis if you know) of the commercial square sound from the 90s track 'you've got to show me love'!
im sure you know which one im talkin about; that square low filtered square sound that is overly used but very effective on the dance floor...i really want to know which plugin has that as a preset or even better how to re-synthesize it

Sounds like any old snare sample.
I'm pretty sure the key to the "snap" and all that is just good EQ and Comp. |

ok i dont think anyone is getting what i mean!
its the square wave MELODY or HOOK if you must.
its the only thing that is playing it the background that has a melody to it its very very low pass filtered!
its that square sound that im after i once found the preset in one of the popular vsts but i forgot where it is. i just thought some one would remember right away.

listened and remembered it, famous song
i dont know if its a square, i mean it could be sine wave, sounds so round, high notes low passed as you said and a "piano" like envelope with decay-releasesimilar to each other, a bit of attack maybe and resonance on the filter, try on a synth to experiment, it soundnt be that hard, Pro53 maybe is good for that sound

the only sound i renembered is the organ sound.
it did the bass. It's from a korg m1 preset organ 2 or something like that. |
