Im looking for links to production and synthesis videos on you tube. Has anyone got any recommendations for stuff they found useful. Generally i can only find basic stuff and so would prefer something more advanced. |

yeah ! unfortunatly I don't think you are going to get to much out of youtube videos.
If you really want to benefit from a video , you shoud get hold of some commercial dvd on mixing and so forth.
Ask has released a dvd called mixing with the pros ,this one is particularly good if you want the learn a methodology on mixing. James tuttle mixes a whole song in front of the cameras while explaining everything he does and why he does it.

For $55 you can't go wrong....
There's a whole bunch of dvds out there on mixing and mastering worth to check out.
