Midi CC outputs  +1 and + 2 to the mod CC parameter
it s there since 1.3 and i think there is no 1.3 manual ,or couldnt find it..
btw guys do you use it for "normal " patchs? i used it mostly for leads in the past, really great but now really enjoy the weird drones,i could spend hours just making some, it s really fun ! |

just use it to get over the fact ill never be able to buy a buchla......lol
theres a bass patch i did called bouncing ball
not that it bounces but sounds like a ball???
not as easy to get vanilla stuff out of aalto
but worth a bash |

haha yeah ! i m not familiar with buchla sound at all but heard few clips the other day , was sounding really impressing
about aalto it s good for some vanilla stuff a la posford lol , problem is with modulations the patchs can rely a lot on the midi line..and wihtout a suited one it sound nothing like it s intented to
for detroit techno kind of patch it s great with step seq and the fm too.. for weird stuff a la jeff mills from the 90s.. my only complaint it s a bit thin maybe..it may lack density in the sound/mids/low |

its a common thing in modular as well, you have to reinforce the patch as your going
not a fat sytnh but has fat potential (dont we all)

I didn't have the track armed in ableton.
oh shit, this opens up a CRAZY amount of control that I didn't have before.....though the patches won't be as shareable because i'll be routing weird ableton curved automation through shit...hm...

stick to a common number maybe.... so are the two outputs offset from the origional. ie 1 oct ,2 oct
and such...
my favourite trick at the moment is using the lfo to modulater seq position( seq set tot off) just like the buchla spectral osc, can make nice arps |

well even if I stick to a common number, when I go to share the patches they won't sound the same because the person I'm sharing them with won't have the automation data that I'm putting through +1 and +2

but yeah all my patches will have the mod dial at 1. I never get 'normal' sounds out of aalto I just have fun. I've never had a goal in mind beforehand when making any of the patches....I don't even think one of the ones I've shared is one that I've made from scratch...they were all tweaked out of other patches from either you guys or the default library.
