need more people to get this hehe
one of the things that I've been having a barrel of fun with....Touchable on the ipad.
it has this mode where you can 'lock' all the parameters of a device...you can move the slider that controls that parameter and that parameter will change, but once you let go of that parameter then it goes back to the lock position
so i'll get a patch dialed in where I want it, then figure out its key controls then lock it and start fucking with them...can get to weird places and I don't fuck up my patch!
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

i do a similar thing with maschine,
in the step sequencer when you touch a step all the control for aalto show up and you can program in scenes for live playing,
i really think aalto would benefit from the cables being able to have attenuation and offsets
ever heard or Alessandro Cortini
hes the keyboard guy from Nine Inch Nails
does a lot of improvised stuff on a buchla easle
which is what Aalto is loosely based on i think.
super sweet tweeks

these sound were sure way more popular in the old goa trance..i love them too probably cause was fun to trip on it..
the ms 20 is probably fun for these sounds
often when the sounds are derived from soemthing real...it s more sspectacular for me.. for example synthese of a flute sound and then turning it into a alien flute.. or making a explosion sound and turn it into a fx.. i think it work great cause it remind something real to our brain.. could be bullshit but it work on me.. like when earing water drop i start to imagine and see things..then if it s turned into crazyneess it s even more triping and spectacular

I totally feel you on that. Natural sourced sounds processed in unnatural ways leave a weird sensation....
honestly one of the things I am most excited about in regards to the ms-20 is its water/bubble making capability.
