My 2 cents on it:
I just couldn´t care less if everyone in the world were listening to Psychodelic trance and artists were making millions... having atitude and all.... AS LONG AS THE MUSIC WERE PSYCHODELIC!!!!!
Thats the main point!!!
Skazi's music was never psychodelic... listen to some Halucinogen and compare... plase don´t get me wrong.. I am not even trying to compare the tow of'em but this is just to ilustrate what is and is not psycodelic...

Just leave S K A Z I alone.
I feel bad for the guy sometimes.
The amount of bashing he has received from everyone on this forum.
Personally i dont like his music at all infact it annoys me but why go on & on about it.
Isnt he entitled to his own taste?
Respect the guys taste and if its not Psy then why even bother discussing it on a forum intended to "discuss trance music on various topics"?
If you dont like his music dont listen to it there are thousands of other artists outhere.Period.

Skazi stumbled onto a winning formula with his album storm using power guitar rifts over hard naging beats and it was awesome when it came out
but then what does he do ??
he just rehashes and remakes the same tracks again and again and again
He shouldve evolved and allowed his sound to evolve but insted he just went stagnant and in my ears his music just went flat and souless |

And still...the whole rockstar atitude sucks!  Dont you think?
@mr_sparx: i think youre right, by now his "im going to outer space" skazi theme song will be recognized by anybody.
Maybe thats not so bad for him.

Anyone ever noticed the irony that earlier he played hardcore punk (punk being so anti-commercial) and now he's a superstar, raking in a$ much ca$h a$ h€ can?
Ok, he did have some good musical ideas when he came, but he repeated the ideas over and over - gets rather boring after a few tracks. And worse still, now every fullon artist has copied the same tricks and is repeating them ad infitum and ad nauseum.
Another good reason to dislike him is his influence on the scene; I'm sure his commercial success has and will tempt many others to do the same, and everyone knows what happens to musical content when you have to maximise profit. Music becomes shallow, very simple and other extra-musical values become more important. But that's what the masses want and there will always be those who are ready to give them what they want - and as if by accident g€t rich aŁong th€ way.

I just the survived through the Hit n' Run DVD... Man I didn't know that guy was such a walking mysoginistic hard-on... What I don't understand is how promoters after watching this DVD can seriously book him, I've never seen someone so incarnate the anti-thesis of trance culture as him. For crying out loud even SOAD is more psy than he is
I've never seen him live so I can't judge firsthand of course, can someone tell me if he plays venues alone (it would make sense) or if he actually plays @ trance festivals (makes no sense whatsoever)... |

Skazi is ok, nothing special for my ears, but its ok if he play, but I dont like those guys, at least they use to be(4 years ago, europe summer season), everywhere I went, and if Skazi were there, they were standing behind him, all the time, making faces, arggh!!, I guess that is chemical tour crew
