ok so heres the bad news...you will have to open up the xox to calibrate the scalling of the cv with the same potentimeter as the mod env in the xox audio path
unless your man that built it took care of this for you
also wait till you hear the xox through the phatty with the overload cranked up.......mwha hahahahahahah!

All the cash I can spend right now went for the MF-108 and the Slim Phatty (which I found used for 650€...still waiting for the sender to answer back to me on when I can go pick it up...). After that I am going to have to wait until someone buys the stuff I have up for sale and get some cash together and the gig I have in Paris.
Priorities are the MF-107 and MF-102. After that I am thinking about getting the Maschine.
Peace out.

have you had a look at these
http://www.koma-elektronik.com/ft201/
was thinking the same as you with regards to expanding the phatty into a modular synth/signal processor
but decided to hang of for a while cos they seem to be going downd the cv AND midi road

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Was going to look for a multimode filter as some point my self. Great addition to have the sequencer on there...too bad there is no MIDI input...although I suspect its nothing you can't sort out with a MIDI to CV DAC.
Anyhow, I hope they sort a MIDI version by the time I save up for it.
Peace out.

that's a very impressive, innovative and amazing sounding filter... and the delay too!

Apparently only 1000 units will be produced. The BBD chip is rare. Luckily I got mine.
I love a good flanger and this pisses over any software chorus/flanger I've ever used, from a great height.
The LFO goes into audio frequency range and it sounds like the x0xb0x has some sort of metallic FM going on and due to the -ve and +ve feedback, its like I have two different sorts of FM.
Everything is MIDI so I can automate anything using CCs.
The inverted output makes the mono x0x come to me from far wider than my monitors position.
Sounds absolutely brilliant!
Can't wait for the Slim Phatty to get here.

The overdrive is so warm and sweet, very nice saturation/compression of the peaks, such a creamy sound. With the phatty its going to be two stages of overdrive. I put a bassline made on Logic's ES2 through it and upped the drive to about 11 o'clock and the sound has this thick yet very defined timbre.
585€ is expensive, but this pedal is quality through and through. Very low noise level and such a huge sonic pallete...I get a really tight sounding slap back delay that almost sounds like a really tight spring reverb, not unlike the EMS VCS3 we had in Uni... but you can actually tune the frequency of the slapback tail by simply dialing in the right delay time... the sound just feels like its coming from a much better set of monitors than the ones I have.
I'm so excited to be going back to analog gear...I feel like I just re-discovered electronic music production.
Everything just sounds so exciting again
Peace.
