well you ought to understand this psychedelic is not about peace and love...psychedelic means producing distorted sensory perceptions and feelings or altered states of awareness or sometimes states resembling psychosis...so if a rape does not happen its surprising..half the things that psychedelic experience creates are illusionist and temporal there's nothing real about them..all the consciousness stuff you are preaching about is just half baked experience..in the real world consciousness is a liability and imposition. it was consciousness that killed the tribal culture in the first place..it was consciousness that destroyed your intuition..nature does not believe in asking permissions neither do you its your consciousness and this fake consciousness that creates the illusion of peace and shanti and you think thats psy???? ha hahahaaaaahahahahaha...wake up the trip is over you have hit the wall at the end of the rabbit hole...now you will see more fights at psy parties than ever before because the curtain of consciousness is burning..the resentment is increasing the situation in the world is no good..and you still want to extend the illusion of peace..yeah continue your psychedelic journey towards peace...but remember in reality there can be none

All you said is true (as horrible and dark as it is), but you’re seeking consistency of the experience. I don’t understand why. Your experience need not be consistent. One can be a loving husband and father here today and a ruthless warrior there tomorrow. You can be cunning and cynical “in the world” but open and sensitive in a sanctuary. For some, this sanctuary is a company of a good friend, for others it’s their computer chair, for somebody else it’s a psytrance festival. PLUR does not mean we should “turn the other cheek” all the time and in all cercumstances. And facing the shit of this world does not mean we should abandon PLUR alltogether. You can simply apply different standards to different places, times and people, can’t you? |

After all those millions of bullshit remixes i heart lately in parties ...this one didn't surprise me at all ...
I mean i heard David Guetta, RHCP, Madonna, and 1000 other Pop-trance remixes ...
I think its more then annoying ... some people don't have ideas anymore and try to make hits ... from already done hits ...
There are very few remixes that i like ...some choosed good tunes and didn't do a bad Job ...
I think this is kinda Fashion at the moment ... makein Music for Kids ...
I played quite often in Brazil lately ...and most of the Artist who play those kinda remixes mostly only play there (plus one or two other countries) ... The cashflow is good ... and the kids can sing with it and clap their hands ...

Full on is a form of psytrance, and when well executed it is very pleasant and danceable in my opinion.
Anyer, I agree with you, I'm from Brazil and that's why it's been almost two years since my last commercial party. By the way, Bizzare Contact (still with two "z") played in that party (2 years ago) and every other track had singing... Didy (Bizzare Contact) is the one of the kings of xacota (145 bpm pop dance shit). And to think that his first album was interesting at the time (April 2004, I have the original  )...
DJ sets are even more annoying since they are full of these remixes because it pleases the crowd... And the crowd is not interested at all in psychedelic stuff.
The only good parties around here are very small rare private parties. I've complained about it a lot, the scene here is ridiculous, Thujon summarized it in a good way...
