I did this one with toxic biohazard...But i tried to get out with a different sound than the usual just to vary..Fm8 is great for this but almost any synth with an Fm matrix can get it.
anyway i think the track itself is very very dry and "too wierd to live". I'm sometimes just too exaughsted editing every small part. ... meh
i relistened to it and it lack some depth in the low end ,some dynamics to be more convaincing ,but it could be a thin hardware synth ? or maybe not... the reso make it sound thiner it s cranked from 50 to 80 %

Many of the Billy Cosmosis Albino presets sound like this... it is really pretty simple FM saw / square

in my sample i think the delay and maybe the detune make it sound worst... the fm was really singing on his own with that metallic quality with the filter open

I think you just need to just go with the flow and don't overuse sound as said above. Fm8 will get you that sound.This sound is like the saw you need to tweak it alot untill you get a "fat" sound.

Pom, nice sounds, I wont try to guess if it is analog or virtual, sorry But I think a bit more bass frequencies will add more solidness in this case. Less hp roll of probably.

yes it s sound too compressed too even if i havent compressed it at all, it s the compression of driving the filter. it s digital synth , imo it lack the organic, liquid sound, it s not relaxed enought and it s 2d sounding ...runing it in a nice preamp or some tubes it would sound nice i think more hifi.

man can you tell me f it sound good as some hardware? it could be belivable it s hardware? just asking as i dont used hardware synth since some time , i kind of forget their quality... but wondering if it s on par..
we hear well the sound just the last bar when the filter is open...to me it s on par with hardware...
