yep, nice music but sometimes too heavy for one's head they use traditional tuvan instruments as well as original tuvan songs.
shamanic music at its best but it maybe too harsh to listen for any unprepaired mind

If u're into Tuvinian throat singing, I'd recommend this record:
Oidupaa Vladimir Oiun. "Divine Music From A Jail"

This man stays in russian jail more than 20 years (u can imagine..), he became christian there (Tuva is mostly buddhistic), and this album is mainly in Tuvinian with some songs in Russian, to the accompaniment of bayan (kind or traditional russian accordion). Some old russian folk songs he sings seem extremely weird this way, for my moscow ears at least %) Anyways, it's done with a truly open heart..
Not sure, but maybe it's already in dc++ and likes.. |
