I'm sort of oldskool in that i still like to do a lot of sequencing on hardware like my Yamie QY 300. I'd like to know how I can use a Standerd MIDI File recorded on floppy in my QY and then play it on my PC. Right now, the computer won't recognize the disc because it's formatted for the Yamaha QY. So what good is it saving it as a SMF if you can't bring it into other sequencing systems (like Cubase).
Can any one help me with this?
