WTF?! ?! ?! ?!

ok.. so i messed around with this 2,300 NIS TTOY yesterday ( and a few months back come to think of it...) but wtf??

what's the deal with this "toy?"
i really don't look at it seriously since it's all presets and pre-made sound banks, patterns, loops and drum sequences - yes, you have awesome control on eatch part that's true - but still... wtf?

can any of the experts here throw their opinion plz? :)

if you don't like it as sound source, use it as a controller.
you can look at it as midi controller with some sounds.
don't be so negative, everybody errs sometimes:
the price you payed is not only for the keyboard, but also for the knowledge that excitement is great in making music, but not in byuing stuff.
about the "return it to the seller" .... this has no chance: the keyboard works, so nobody will change it for you, unless you take less money for it.
try selling it in act.co.il, but not here
you've ruined the sales in this forum, in this thread :)

i'd leave it. try this link, maybe you can find something usefull here: www.yamahadjx.com

bom.

i played with a DJX once and wasnt particularily impressed with it, even though all the music magazines were here were raving about it being a new age in hardware for begginners

but 2,300 NIS? i dont know exactly what that is in pounds, but here two years ago it would have set you back £200-250... im sure tahts nowhere near as much as your talking about

My friend has it, and IT SUCKS. Terrible sound quality, yea cool arpeggiator and shit but that's all... Even controlling it through MIDI sucks.
