And I didn't say so either.. on the other hand, I have a problem and a major one with his unmentioned remixes, I don't get it.. Don't you think it's lame thing to do? |

C'mon man, Yahel makes very good uplifting melodic club music (which I don't particulary like). He also makes some more interesting stuff, as you will be able to hear on his new album.
And in my opinion, very very few artists can make "a good track" and it needs much more than trying real hard.
This is the reason that there are not so many very good tracks around. |

yeah, forgive me for listening to music that gets higher than a snare a kick some hi-hats and some loops going around for 9 minuets..
there is almost no escape no more, everything is getting TOO minimal,too techno influenced and too dark and crappy IMHO. downloading 100 house tracks playing eatchone once and deleting them sure makes time pass till the next "interesing" inteligent trance album :)
wtf is going on????
and as i said, Yahel is good, but too comercialized. |

As a Huge goa fan - I must Admit that I like very much yahel's tracks, and I dont like people that critisize music only because it's genere.......

First of all, personally i think Yahel's very talented guy and he know very well what's doing and he likes it very much as well.
about the remix, i made "Coming Home" with Miko/Mental Orange and the track is ALREADY a remix for an old Blue Planet Corp. track something from 94 or something, so dont think Yahel's remixing California Sunshine's stuff because the remixs were made in the same time(more or less).
except this, who are you guys anyway that you say Yahel's stuff's bad? you can say "its not my taste" or "its not my cup of tea" but you cant say that its shit on a guy who's selling 15,000 copies of his album, or put it in other way, you cant argue with success.

amir, sails got nothing to do with quality.
Yahel might not be my cup of poison ;)
and he might as well be talented for all i know, but i'm not interested in commercial music, which is what i call SHIT.
Yahel and his friends are free like all of us, they can make any kinda music they like, but i'd never go out and buy their CD.
people here in the forum speak their mind, that's what this place is for,right?
and if between me and myself i think that music is what i'd look at and say "SHIT" or "what's become of trance" :)
i might as well speak up if i wanna! |

well Amir is right here, but barkan sold 20.000 copies as well, so it doesn't say anything to me;)
Anyway Yahel is another level and he's really advancing towards some progressive and not club-cheesy he used to do.

The most of the last Barkan's is made by Yaehl Sherman himself so it does say something. |
