XP or w2k with logic 5.2 ?

-has anyone any experiences with this combo ?
---> really better performances ?
---> stability ?

i work with xp and logic, no problem at all.
before that i used win 98 and it was terrible.
even though that in the past microsoft made crappy stuff, their software are becoming more and more reliable,because xp is a newer product i recomend that you'll use the xp instade of the w2k |

...u re also one of the last mohicans ?!? -i ve alread thought that i ve to move to some logic-forums. most ppl are using sx, i don t know why. if cubase is better some day, i can still move X-)=
win98 was one of the worst os ever done (...oke, there s me too *lol*).
i m still not shure about xp / w2k: at office apps, xp isn t still as good as w2k. but i d like to do noise, so...
have to think about...thanx 4 support !

BTW- logic 7 is out soon... Check it out!

I don't think so mate.
I think winXP is not anywhere near using your processor/system resources - smarter than win2k.
of course we are speaking of both last releases of the OS's, sp1 for xp and sp3 for win2k.
You won't load more PVs with XP - of course u can try and see - this is the only proof u will have
