There will be 24 hours of psychedelic music, featuring the talents of

and perhaps others

Sound by the marvelous and talented Daniel Weid

We will also have a potluck picnic hosted by Trillium Encantada (aka Megan MoE). Those who would like to participate should bring foods that are local to them; as in grown in your backyard, or your neighbors backyard, or a family recipe, local organic produce, etc.
Potluck around 4-5 pm Saturday, music to begin around 6pm.
Cost will be a $20 dollar donation per person. Please try to carpool.

This party is not just to celebrate my birthday, but the multitude of other birthdays in our community that happen to occur in July. As usual don't forget to ask for your free gift...

Directions and time slots will be announced a few days before the party on this thread, so stay tuned.

This is an underground, underpromoted party, so please do your part by spreading the word and bringing your friends.

correction:

Sweat Shop Boys = Asom + An Endless Black Cloud. Our boring, beatless, totally un-isra, psychedelic only if you wish it so, quasimusic can be heard on the comp linked on Sean AKA Knob Goblin AKA An Endless Black Cloud's rather lackluster webpage: http://www.khalijarecords.com/~cloud/

The location for this weekend is pristine! The roads are good, the forest is thick and then a beautiful clearing welcoming our celebration! It is a very clean and beautiful place. Let's keep it that way.

I harvested the first squash from my garden this week. SO excited my veggies are coming in time for the pot luck. I'm going to bring something savory AND something sweet...

xo!

astro gelatinous sealion silver on a celery stick,
i now present to you the directions and timeslots.
let it be known amongst the masses that Infinite Sun has been added to the lineup.

directions:
click on the link below. this will give you google directions from the I-5S to the location of the party. replace I-5 with the area you are coming from, because there are many shortcuts depending on if you are coming from the LA/SoCal area, SF Bay, et al.
here is the link:
http://tinyurl.com/nv2jka

here are the specific notes regarding the last leg of the journey:
after journeying up the 120E for the mileage designated by the google link, you will see a sign that reads "Sawmill Mountain Area <-----," at which point you will turn left. If you see a sign that reads "Hadrin Flat Berkeley Camp," you've gone too far.

This is a paved road with some residential outcroppings. Please be careful not to disturb the locals. Continue on this road for exactly 1.9 miles.
Take a RIGHT on to a fairly blind dirt road. It should come at exactly 1.9 miles.

Travel on this dirt road for 0.2 miles.
You will encounter a fork.
Bear to the left.
Continue on this road for 0.8 miles. A Xexify Associate will assist you in parking.

I just visited the spot and it is quite beautiful, a true forest location. I did spot a bear while I was there and have heard warnings of mountain lions, so please be careful, don't stray too far at night, and walk with friends in the day. The location is expansive and has much potential for exploration and hiking. There is plenty of parking and lots of camping spots.

Remember the golden rules: Pack it IN Pack it OUT, leave no trace, the spot is pristine as KaRo mentioned and we'd like to keep it that way.

There WILL NOT be a porta potty at this party so PLEASE BRING A SHOVEL. Inquire with any one but me for further instructions.

Try to carpool, and try to arrive early, we have a lot of exciting music and a delicious potluck prepared for the beginning of the party. The music will start at 7pm and continue until at least 7pm the next day.

And now for the timeslots:
(THESE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!!!)
7pm-9pm Knob Goblin (industrial inspired DUBSTEP and ambient music, fresh from Washington state!)
9pm-1030- Infinite Sun
1030-1200- Daniel WAID
12mid-130am- Skeptych
130am-3am- Catalyx
3am-430am- Bisli
430am-6am- dogoftears
6am-8am- Arahat
8am-10am- Quasar
10am-1130am- Dylalien
1130am-1pm- Spyros
1pm-230- Zinduka
230-4pm- Piskey
4pm-530- A.C. Lion
530-7 or later- Sweatshop Boys

There you have it. Be there or be an ugly un-obtuse, un-geometric non-shape that doesn't even rhyme.

And don't forget to ask for your free gift.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum
Sheeeeeeeeevah!
