thanks fellas for kind comments! this is pretty much everything i have ever made.. which also means there is a lot of... uhm, lets go with crap .. yet i think it was a good idea to gather everything under one hat - so that those who have followed me over the years can hear how the sound has evolved.

(most music from recent compilation CDs are not included on this DVD, as it would be bad support of these labels to include it).

in other news - new album from me is coming in not too long. but it will be under my birth name, and not xerxes. xerxes will be a closed chapter pretty soon, with a free EP being released on xerxes-music.com

see ya all! any questions can be directed to me via email           www.xerxes-music.com

Ah. I missed this comment before I jumped on it and ordered. Is it truly sold out?

Also, why MP3 and not WAV/FLAC?

techmonkey - you'll get the very last copy sir.. thank you for ordering

and the reason why it is not WAV/FLAC is quite simple: space. it is now 2.7 gigs i think.. in mp3 format. if i went wav or even flac on every single song - i dont know how i would have packaged it

but.. as soon as my xerxes "gravevyard" site is up with all my music for free, i will put up the later material in WAV for DJs and other people who may have interest in that.

to be honest.. and i think i have decently tunes ears - i can not hear the difference on a really good sound system between a 192kbps mp3 and a wav file. i have blind tested and failed. i seriously think most other people would too.

cheers m8!

Xerxes got a huge package, it's too big to be put inside a box.

It is proven that most people don't hear a difference (unless your package is stuck in their ears! OK, I'll stop now, haha!).

I listen to Meditation a lot and one-oh-three. Everytime my player hops to Me and a Gun I get a shiver, it's so melancholically(?) beautiful. Brrr.           http://enjoys.it

Cool. Thanks very much, Klaus!

I've failed listening tests as well. Still, my inner-audio snob compulsively tries for lossless whenever possible.

this brings so many memories...

i remember i came across your tunes at hornet.org ftp, or perhaps even earlier at some local bbs. still remember a track called disbelief and some other too

during the years of my interest in scene music you were one of my two fave composers. such a pleasure seeing you after those years still alive n kicking

keep it up ! :>
