Ps. For the Golden Week holidays, Radix club is promoting a 4-nights electronic event. X-Dream is the trance artist. On the 2nd May, techno DJ Richie Hawkings will be playing at the same floor. Funny, Hawkings is sounding more trancier than X-Dream. Don't miss them!

A small review: X-Dream is simply the best trance act. Poweful, thrilling, first-class. One thing surprised me: their live acts, as DJs and X-Dream, don't resemble at all their last album. Instead, I guess they remixed all the tracks of "we interface", so it sounded much more powerful live than the not-so-much appreciated album.
Good points: incenses, the japanese vibe, Jan and Marcus, Sho sets, nice air-conditioning system
Not so good points: no fluo deco. I don't know who was who, but the first DJ set was awful. The jungle-trance track was simply horrible.
But a very good party, congratulations!

I completely agree with you goa-ganges...
X-Dream have unique sound production! Before 2 years, I had the pleasure to see them live at Samothraki Dance Festival, and their Sound approach was massive! I still remember the excellent quality!
Best regards

just got back from the tokyo solstice party, and i have to say x-dream stole the show!
the sound was soooo FAT and they had such an original concept that went beyond the music- their visuals, their website, even animation was all done on their own, I really felt I entered the 'X-World'. I spoke to Jan and he told me about their concept, very electronic, non-organic, and experimental.
Goa Ganges said they are the best trance act, I know exactly what he is saying, but I wouldnt even want to compare them with the other full on 'acts' of today that they play with. They are on a whole another level, always trying to do something new. We dont like to repeat things- were his words, very efficient and mechanical, like their sound. I personally liked them the best out of the whole lineup, they have a cool concept, amazing sound and production, and they simply ROCK! The vocalist was really cool too, the last 30 minutes of the 90 minute set was accompanied by the robotic vocals, gotta say it was one hell of a show.
GO X-Dream! Cant wait to see them again!
There, thats my two cents after seeing them play last night.
Hope everyone had a good golden week,
