WTF Vanguard presets erased in cubase....

Ok, so I've never had any problems with Vanguard till now....After I have the synth set just right, I save and exit cubase. then when i load it back up, the synth says its set in the right place, but for some reason its acting as if i dont have it setup right. It doesnt read anything like the cutoff, filters, program list, arp or TG. In order to make it work again, I have to load a new vanguard synth and reconfigure my settings.
This has never happened to me b4...anyone else have this same problem?
