A nice and quite good israeli trance site has changed url... so i checked it out and look at this!!!
What the Fuck is this!?
Is this what u want to show the people?
Is this what u want to make out of this music?
From all the logos,images in the world you had to put up this?
Come on!!! i want you to remove it A.S.A.P!
I love this music and i am not using drugs, and this music isn't about drugs.. it's just happen to get along really good with drugs... but come on! look what has happened becuase all this drugs crap?
I think you should remove this pic and put something else.
This is sertantly not the message we should be showing.

Youre absolutley right! Music is legal and drugs (untill im prime minister) are not. This doesnt help to get the scene a good name and should be changed. I support you ron :)

well i am not entering that thing. i have my site and watching it and not responsible or taking care about every little thingy hapenning in israeli internet...they decided like this..so let them go...beside i never enter their site cause i have enough info on isratrance;)

and about the translation of what they answered..it's no simply "no" it's more like ultimatum like they predict all additional questions..it's something like NO and that's it. |

Well.... i talked to the d00d and after arguing for 190 min he told me it's his friend in the pic smoking a cig.
BAH! :)
We 2 argued for about another 10 min and then came to a nice conclusion:
Fuck the people who connect this music to drugs automaticaly.

Well, some thoughts from me...
I agree that psychedelic drugs can be a mean to reach an end. The end here being a higher level of consciousness. I disagree that they are the only means, I further disagree that they are the best means, I furthermore disagree that they are very good means- especially in the way people use them today.
There are much better means to reach a higher level of consciousness- I'll name a few: meditation, deep thought, open mindedness, trance, yoga, and the list goes on. I do agree that these are harder ways (or so it seems), I also believe that what you reach through them, is much more real and really stays with you.
Now psychedelics are dangerous. All things that bring you to a higher level of consciousness can be dangerous if you can't cope with what you have to face when your knowledge expands. The problem with psychedelics, I think, especially with the way most people use them these days, is that the experience is very intense, and usually permanent and irreversible at any point. Now experiences like that need guidance (read Castaneda)- I'm afraid that very little guidance is available these days. You can't expect guidance from drug dealers, that is for sure. I believe that Psychedelics are sure not an experience for fun, to have every weekend, as a lot of people use them. I've seen too many people that crushed, I've seen too many people that experience great difficulties in coping with life and dealing with their emotions after using psychedelics.
Now, I don't like people preaching me what to do, what is a better human and what is a matured human- Mr. MkCenna included. I'm not too familiar with his life and philosophy, so I won't talk about it, I'm also not sure that the quote given here is exact. I think that a lot of people use psychedelics too lightly, especially in the trance scene. I also strongly believe that music is music, and can be appreciated and enjoyed without external help. I also know that a trance experience is independent of drugs, I do acknowledge that not enough people going to trance parties discovered that, as their experience is a drug experience mostly, though the two can combine.
I strongly recommend to all people to be very cautious with what they do with their mind- it's a frail thing, and needs to be taken care of. Especially when the decision you make is permanent and irreversible.
I also remind you that most psychedelics are illegal in most places as it is now, and as we are social being living in a society, that is also something no to be ignored in your calculation.
I do not wish to start a big discussion about this- this is not the place, because this site and these forums deal with music and not with drugs, even psychedelic ones. Just please think about what I wrote and check yourselves.
