this is more of a creativity question.
usually when i write a track ill build a section which im satisfied with and move on to the next. the tracks come out flowing but i feel like ive built a hosue and need to do the interior design. and i get stuck here, i just dont know what to do!!
so if anyone understands what im talkign about and has a tip or idea or what not, please share.
thank you
tal

maybe save, and then do anything and play around with the sounds and the arrangement, so you get new ideas and new structures.
Maybe some really cool stuff by accident, coz sometimes we can' imagine what we want to do

if you're making dance music, get up and dance to it. creation is all about visualization, and visualization is all about role taking. you'd be surprised by how many songs write themselves when you just channel...music is always in the air, suffering from disarray, and it needs you to organize it and make it transmissible.

also, save different versions of your file...that way, you don't need to worry about destroying something that was good...u can probably get something even better! |

I like this one br0d,
Tal, make yourself a 16 bar masterloop-
and start adding and layering sound by sound until you will get something- then it will be easier for you to see where the track is following too,

i have a similar problem...
but i think i have a nice idea...
you were sayinn that you buliding a track block after block.... let's say you doing a 16 bar block and move on to the next... and to the next... on and on...
try this...
force your working on a bigger blocks (if we said 16 bar then try 32 or 64...[?])
and now when you playback it till you saricfied you will notice that somthing is missing... and try combining more passintro-4bar/2bar stuuf
this way it will never be borring... and you can show your abilties !!!!!
hope i'd help
let me know whats going on
