@sy000321: dude i respect your point of view.
Belive me, i don't have anything against anybody who wanna make music for fun. It's a free world !
You don't have to be so frustrated
I was just answering to a question. "Why artists like Wrecked Machines...sounds so good ?" and the answer is simple "because they are pro!!"
And belive me...it is a big difference between playing with samples and soft synths on the computer for few hours;.. and studing music (all kinds of music) in a professional way, and than apply this knowledge in trance tunes.
Many artists are wondering "Why i have sold only 1000 cd's ???"
Well..that's why!!!

You`re right atma, the problem is that a lot of people forgets about studying music, sound engineering and ask themselves why they canīt sound pro.
Doing it for fun al also great, it`s a free world as u said, but achieving pro sounds is a cobination of knowledge and equipment (good pc, soundcard and monitors). |

No no, spend enough money on your equipment and your music will be automaticly innovative, powerfull, original and well produced.

i doubt one psytrance track would generate that kind of money to pay for a complete PC...

Especially first track. And I doubt you can sell anything made on a PS.
Anyway - how I see it - music is not something I'm gonna live from in the future. I'll probably go study and get a "real" job. Yes, living just by my music is my dream, but I'm not going to work too hard to accomplish it, even though I know I can if I just want to.
In the meanwhile I make music for fun and the little cash that comes out of it, and if by chance I turn out to be extremely good, so be it. But that's my dream which I'm not going to work too hard to accomplish.
Call it laziness, I call it realism.

"i doubt one psytrance track would generate that kind of money to pay for a complete PC... "
now, in brazil, you can score a basic PC (new) for U$ 430.
second-hand, values are way lower.
"Especially first track. And I doubt you can sell anything made on a PS. "
well, have you ever heard of genius?
and yes, the first track was sold and was also sequenced on PS. Probably you know one of his very first tracks. its called MDMario, was played worldwide sum years ago...what counts on that track definetly isn`t top notch production (that track could have been sequenced even @ 8 bits Nes ), but the concept. he wasn`t known as WM yet..

i doubt that with the PS soft anyone can make a track wich any labels would be interested of, that someone could be paid enough to buy a pc with it's first track and that a 430$US pc is good for psytrance production
  roll a joint or STFU :) |

Easy mate... Donīt throw so many infos without knowing all the facts.
First of all, I doubt WMīs made more than U$1000 for his first release(considering a good pc has this cost). If he did, he was a hell of lucky guy! lol Indeed I donīt know if the first track he sold was for Etnicanet, but I remember an old release from Wajanga Records, wich I thought it was the first release of WM.
Now letīs make other thing clear: MDMario from Wrecked Machines??? WOWOWOW!!!! U are from Brazil and u donīt know who made one of the biggest hit of our scene, and also use it as an example of how genious WM is??? COME ON!!!
The track is actually called Super MDMArio, and this track was written by Dj Lipe Forbes and Dj Marcello VOR, under the name Insane Tubulators.
Now u can continue discussing....

Gheghe... Read this interview with BB King:
http://www.loc.gov/loc/lcib/0510/king.html
Did you start with a guitar? asked Bulger.
I started with one string, a piece of wire off a broom stick. King described nailing both ends of the wire to the outside of the house on the back stoop and using two bricks as bridges to make the wire taught.
Maybe Wrecked Machines are the BB King of psytrance (true romance innit ?).

you`re damn right. Insane Tu(r)bulators.. actually that`s Skulptors first known track, before he was called Skulptor (along with V.O.R as you told).
about the PS thing, you can be pretty sure gabe started producing music on that "software", and story told he sold his first track sequenced on PS to this italian guy... if that`s a lie, well, we can blame it on him.
