Hi there,

This is an annoying answer, i know, but: They probably make their sounds so good by using years of experience they got from making music, tweaking, reading and using their trained ears. And good gear of course, however this comes at the second place.

See: http://www.baladaplanet.com.br/materias/materia2.asp?id=284

This is an interview in brazilian portuguese. Some translated citations:

"I begin to produce in Sony Playstation, using a MTV's program which was a sequencer with samples.

(...)

Which equipment you use? And which softwares?
Basically Logic and some virtual instruments."

afaik - logic and cubase - respectivly.... but how does this affect their music? both are great when used right.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

something xtra about Wrecked:
once he decided to produce music, he simply left all life activities and basically didn`t left his room for more than a year... no parties, no school, nothing. only isratrance forum (just kidding), general production readings and marathon-sesh over synths

I agree with you !!!

If you wanna make music, do it proffesionaly....if not, you better quit before you spend time and money for nothing

And don't forget: in the hands of a pro., any soft or equipment can kick asses !!!

The key is : PROFESSIONALISM !

Go, Wrecked Go !!!

They probably have good monitors and good room accoustics. Other than that, experience and good ears.
