Unlike what could be inferred from the title, catalogue number 10 is not a déjà vue but a jubilee release. The glorious combination of famous artists such as Markus Lange, Christian Fischer as well as Super Flu and a debut release of Nico Grubert is just fascinating. However, let us put first things first.
The first track “something on somebody“ was composed by Christian Fischer. There is no need for further explanations. Christian is a global player, successful in almost every country and he does not only release his own stuff under Imprint Definition Records. He has been releasing excellent music since 1996.
Track two is a debut number by Nico Grubert who has chosen Zurich to become his second home. Nico has been composing electronic music for about ten years. Ever since, he has tried to create timeless tracks with heart and soul that already could be experienced as live acts.
Turn the disc around and you will listen to breath-taking minimal dancefloor techno. Mathias and Feliks aka Super Flu have been extremely prolific: a remix here, a release there, productions for Traumschallplatten, Lorna, Karateklub and Whirlpoolsex. What else is there to be achieved?
Last but not least, Markus Lange joins the club with his track Hitman. At the tender age of 17 years, Markus started to compose his own tracks. Only 3 years later, his number “big trouble in little china” was produced all over the world. Today, he not only releases under various labels such as Craft Music and Great Stuff. Markus’ style is something special as it stands out from the crowd. After the Whirlpoolsex-highlights “Ride Side“ and “Pai Lung“, we are looking forward to superstar Markus Lange!
