... to have a tips and tricks Thread, where all people can share the tricks and tips they do in Cubase etc. This to bring the level of everyone to a higher one, i know there are a lot of things discussed already, but not everyone knows where they are and the search function is not always that clear imho.. I noticed that since i started the Workshop Music Production in Amsterdam, all producers have improved a lot... so, what do you think about it, or is everyone afraid to give away their best tricks...

I think its normal that you keep some xtreme techniques to yourself. I mean, if you learned them by yourself and you feel that it adds a little personality to your sound, then its understandable...

(...) unless you are talking about standard and normal stuff... points like how to EQ, how to compress, how to edit/sequence.. etc.. ?? If thats the case then I guess there are already lots of tut's that explain this. People just dont seem to have the trouble to investigate properly, I guess...

For example, the other day I was trying to achieve a type of spreading sound in the high frequencys... And I googled, and googled, and isra'searched ... stuff about mastering, about high end treatment, etc... And I found some answers... Then practiced them..

This is what people dont usually do.. The answers for "frequently asked questions" are out there. The rest comes with practice and development of your own style and groove.

hela...

well, anything is possible, something for beginners to advanced producers, as long as you can learn something from each other, i guess it will only help the scene, btw, most of my tricks i got from friends or co-producers, isn't this the way it works, also watching some tutorial stuff bout SX will help you...

Pavel, is it possible to make a thread, i'll be more then happy to share some goodies... zebra out !
