Thanks Kitnam..

We're oakay for such a topic as long as is does NOT turn into a "bash 4 free" one.. So if you want to share some dissapointement with the other users please do it avoiding offensive expressions and give some arguments..

Else I won't mind at all deleting the thread.

Thanks for the understanding !           .

...actually lets see what the vibe is on this forum.
Who has listened to gabba and thinks that "smoke plastik" is psy-trance?

It sounds indeed like gabba/hardcore and it's worse than that. I've heard better hardcore than this. The whole compilation sounds immature and stupid, so this is indeed one of the albums that's running up for worst of the year so far.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Ok, what about this? I know a guy who organizes some big parties in a Latin American country. You see, he is musically blind, he despises the Goa era because he didn`t live that and everybody else talks about the old good times, he knows psy from 2002 on and DJs that play any thing different or a little old is called absolete. But he has money and influence in the scene and some two years ago he started writing some (very very bad) tracks. Thru his friendships he has now three or four tracks in some compilations. Guess what? He was reviewed in such a way that you would think he was a psy-genius, someone with history in trance. Bullshit. He was reviewed by his friends and some other artists eager to play in his parties, and of course he was invited to play in their parties too. And the guys who said something contrary to the friendly review were accused of poisoning the good vibe of the scene and blah blah. You may call it a mafia, and sure it is.
So, this is how some very bad tracks get played and sold as good music when it`s pure scrap. Just like the self-promotion comments you see in Saikosounds and Psyshop. Any scrap is very good. So, I think it`s not a point of defaming any artist or label. It`s about being honest. If you bought a CD and didn`t like it, you have the right to say so. You bought it with your own money. And other people will be aware before buying CDs that are said to be not good. And most important, situations like the one above will stop. Critics retributing favours to other critics, gosh!

Peace and Love.

Goa-Ganges: I fully support your idea that anyone who's bought a CD may have the right to say her or his opinion about it. If one reads reviews one can clearly see that most reviews contain some kind of information stating why CD X was good, what made it so special or something like it. I assume the same process would be required in order to bash CD X, that is explaining what made it so poor or why you didn't like it. That's something that goes especially along when you're creating a bash-only-without-constructivism-thread like this one..

The hintbook for the bashibashi-reviewer a.k.a. creator of this thread v.1.0:
- Why was it awful?
- What made it "pseudo so called dark underground psy"?
- What could've they done different?

Wait, some of you think it sucks just because it sounds like gabber/hardcore? Great! That's exactly why I picked it up.

ofcourse it sux because its different and this are one of the most narrow minded people, play them "trance and trance only" and you can freely fuck them in the eyes while they are hypnotized on their candy.
PS: why not rename the topic "bashing Nabi" instead of this mask above?

wait so we can discuss the music we dont like, but we must do it in a constructive and user-friendly manner? Fuck that ;-)

So from what I understood, this is the worst CD of the year so far and all because of one track? I guess you are not ready for something different becuase your inteligence can't afford to give it a chance.
Do you know that it takes balls to make something like that and send it to a record label? So no matter what people think or don't think about this track, i salute the attempt...which turned successful.

So this one track is on the faaaar end of the music spectrum. You know what else is veeery faaar? Ultra-soft psytrance with people who actually SING! Like this is POP or something! If I could pick from the two far sides, and i can, I'd rather go with the dirty, rusty, abnormal sound. There is just way too many pink psy tracks out there.

And in the end, Infect Insect is an evil bastard and makes something different, and there is a purpose for that track. Somebody can find it useful. You feeling down? Pop in the CD, play "smoke plastic" and start punching the wall or lifting weighs.

it is all a matter of taste..
i personally liked a lot the last nabi release.
it is dirty, it is hard, and that's the way i like it, so what?
if anyone has anything against any release, say it, but give some arguments, otherwise we may think you are brainless...
