We sadly regret to inform you that WB3 has been indefinitely postponed. Due to the severe economic crunch, adequate funding is not available behind the scenes and there haven't been enough presale tickets sold to make up the difference in funding. We apoligize for any inconvenience and refunds for presale tickets will be issued asap. We hope to be able to present WB3 in the near future, but it may be necessary to wait until next festival season, in order to provide the kind of quality event that the trance community is accustomed to. Any fund raising suggestions are welcomed. Also if anyone would like to become an financial investor, to help get this event up and running as soon as possible, please contact aastralfyre@gmail.com
I can not begin to tell you all how sad we are to have to do this at this time but as I said earlier in this post a good quality event is far better than a half assed one....the funds are just not there neither are the sales....If we can change that I am willing and ready to make this happen!!

how many presale tixs would make a difference?
thats weird, but another 'dark' fest (Armageddon Fest in Russia) I wanted to go to a week after this was also just canceled...

i think the low turn out is due to the clash of 2 festivals (orb-ny & WB3), an example: 5 of my friends n me have been attending festivals 2geather frm last 2 years, but due to the clash in dates, all 5 r attending Orb, although they would love to attend WB3. As orb is not for me i was planning to attend WB3.
maybe postponing the dates to august mite help. just my 2 cents.
hope u guys find a solution.

Non-refundable airline tickets suck too.

Many of the artists from WB3 will be playing at an event that same weekend in Charlotte. So hopefully not a total loss for everyone...

Wow, that sucks.  I feel really bad for all of you who planned to come from afar and had already bought plane tickets, etc. I myself was really looking forward to getting out of my bedroom/studio and getting to play some of the music I've been working hard on for all of you. Most importantly I hope that this doesn't discourage or frustrate any of you from coming to Asheville for any future events. The fact that so many of you put so much into traveling such a long way to our local festivals when there are alternatives closer to your areas are part of what makes our psy-trance scene one of the BEST around... because of the people who do come and contribute to it.
If any of you who had already bought tickets to Asheville and doesn't want to waste them by not using them, send me a PM... if you feel like hanging out in Asheville for a weekend let me know and we can make room for you to stay at our place.

Dood that sux. Hopefully the airline will let you fly somewhere else with it. I'm sure you can find somewhere you would like to be other than at home.
Sorry you guys have to cancel the event. I wanted more than anything to get to go to this but just couldn't afford the airfare. From Dallas they were wanting $600 round trip to Ashville. YIKES! Hope you guys get it all worked out.

okay folks the calls have been pretty overwhelming and I have some offers on the table to get this party started...So the real question is wether or not the people who have got the party in Charlotte going to create a place for the artists that we have booked for our party would like to work together and get those folks back to Deerfields....I had no idea that there was something in the works so quickly when I posted yesterday.... |
