oh really i'm not oldschool ! it's much too fresh music that i make for an oldschool mind 
in the studio i like to work like a scientist, to experiment and work as long as it's really good in my opinion. beatrepeat i like to use as some kind of an uncontrolled random effect...as you said a bit of live performance i guess it belongs to my open mind that i use it on loops and percs and also try it on effects and things. to be unconventional is my goal...and that's nothing odlschool
