I started with Lynda.com - Logic Pro 8 Essential Training.

Yes the first time you use it you're a bit confused, but next thing you know its your second home

what is chord maker? no idea man, there is something called chord memorizer that you can patch in the environement but not sure it s smilar, it let you trigger a chord by pressing a key..
in the environement you can also patch the arpegiator that can be quiet usefull as it record all the invidual midi notes of the arpege, like ona virus synth ,great for making your own melodie and groove
delay line in the environement is fun too , few things you can check by looking online tutorials

if the chord memorizer is what your looking for i will send you a template with it patched

A chord maker is what Fl has in its Piano Roll..u have a drop down list of like over 100 chords and u pick one and it sets it up for u in the Piano Roll...and then u stretch it for how long u want it.its so friking good.I dont why Logic didnt do this yet.
Pom...last question..what is the easiest way to duplicate a region?           www.soundcloud.com/kabbalisticvillage

Set the cursor to the top right corner of the region, until the arrow changes to another symbol.

Then you drag the region and decide how many copies of that region you want.

When you decide how many you want just right click and click "Convert to Real copies"

Make sure you are Zoomed in a little on your organizing window, or you won't be able to duplicate.

Another tip to get your notes tight in your mix is to use Zoom in Zoom out tool to check if the region and notes are set exactly where they are sopposed to.

Here is an example:
