Working in 48000hz?!

Boom!
Can you suggest me: I have a hardware synth (Nord Lead 2x) and output features is 24 bit 96000 Hz. So is it better to record at this mode and after convert to 16 bit 44100 or just simple record at 16 bit 44100. I use Cubase Sx and Wavelab 5.0. My soundcard Esi Juli@

i suggest u to work 48000 24bit and record ur hardware at the same format.... thats what i make... and i think its the best!

Its doesnt slow down that much it just makes it an annoying 144.85bpm or some shit that makes it extremely difficult to mix without having to touch the jog every second.

Record at 24 44.1 - would be best.
