I always saying that is a beter way and eazy to work with 2 computers in your studio 1 for the net (samples and all) and one is the worknig machine . But this is not what i want to talk about , I dont realy know if today is all ready a standart (I buy my new computer 8 month ago) and in the computers world all can be change in a day , I think that when you are going to buy you a new computer for lots of producing and heavy programs you should have a "Presscot System" in it (Much more power - Dubbel all x2) , So .. when u buy you a new one ask for it (I pay only 500 nis) Cheers ! .

you can have 2 computers, or you can have 1 computer running 2 operating system.
my computers runs 4 operating systems, 1 for linux, 1 for audio, 1 for going to the internet and everything else, and 1 for system backup if anything goes wrong hehe. this way you can save some money  |

Ok ..
And if you had this presscot you will have much more power with all this 4 . But here is not for the net speed connection or the music folders is in to the computer force

yes you´re right. i thought presscot was a kind of processor socket or something like that. is that the same as dual core processors what you are talking about of double speed? |

Well .. Doubble the all computer x2 without eny changes (puting outsides cards in it) .
For a tiger computer machine !
So .. When i buyd myn they ask me if this computer is for music produc and i say yes (only) so they put the system in (500 nis) now they put it in a new box (the coputer) becaus the computer need now more place in it and much more air and put also 2 fanns in it (Normaly is 1) - All is work on high speed so must be fresh and cold .

presscot is not a double core its just a kinde of intel processor if you need a high preformence desktop machine ( in israel only)
you should chek this one : pcpower.co.il
he billds the highest prefomnce machines
and it's based on amd's 64bit processor's
