I just had a dream where I remember talking to a few friends about everyone who ever did acid having a certain degree of HPPD (being "stuck" on a trip), and we all reached the conclusion that yes, you keep seeing things in a different way, and that there are certain situations in which you can obviously see that there was a real effect (seeing spots of color, in a room with a flourescent light the walls seem to be much less smooth, etc). We were outside, off the road, in a beautiful green and yellow (grass and flowers) plain, with some trees scattered here and there (pine trees), and I was making a huge amount of weed for everyone to smoke (... which seemed very natural, even though I quit), and eventually, I gave up, and let someone else finish the job. I walked up a hill, to see a road there.
I started walking, and got to my home - only my home was now in the middle of the woods, next to the road. The place had reminded me of the road to Milford in New-Zealand (the South Island), if anyone has been there. I entered my house, to meet my dad and a younger brother of mine starting to watch a movie on DVD, my dad said it was a REALLY new one. I saw it all - it was amazing and cheesy, and it made me feel so incredibly happy. I remember seeing the same movie (something like a combination between Toy Story and AI) 4 times during that day, each time marveling at the beautiful and intricate machines that were so REAL.
I then went with my family (the entire family this time), my dad driving like usual, my mom sitting next to him, and I was sitting in the left side, looking out the window. I started seeing houses scattered around the road, and they kept on growing more and more close together, and taller, and taller, and taller. The houses were not the cold buildings people see in cities, or the woodent houses that always seem frail in the countrysides, but rather, they seemed made out of a plastic like material, in bright colors.
Eventually, I noticed we were heading towards a city. To the city with the tallest, most colorful buildings I have ever seen - the smallest ones made the Empire State building look tiny. There were no small buildings, no signs, no lights, just a road between all these huge buildings. You could see thousands (millions?) of balconies and windows coming out of the side of each - like they were all residential buildings, not windowed and cold business places. Each building was in a different pastel color, and I saw the biggest one in the center of the city, which was in a pastel purple/pink color....
There were elevators on it's side - starting by going up diagonally, because it's based was at 45 degrees, and only about 300m to each direction it turned to go straight up (when the elevator shaft was already "inside" the building, seperating it into 2 halfs, while still looking outwards to the city). I went up the elevator, it zoomed up at insane speeds, I could see another elevator 400m under mine, slightly to the right, until it stopped and I kept going up. I started seeing the tops of the buildings, and everything eventually became a maze of colored squares at different hieghts under me, and it kept on growing smaller, and smaller, until I could see nothing more than an infinately big pattern with it's colors changing in no particular order, but it was just... beautiful.
When I got to the top of the building, I saw a door, and I knew I wasn't supposed to go into it. I did anyways, out of curiosity I guess, and it ended up being a movie theatre, where they were screening the movie I had seen already so many times. A person came in, and said "you came back from the break? well, sit down" and I quickly sat next to this girl (she had short black hair, and a very innocent and clear face, she was wearing a fluffy yellow jacket), I couldn't keep interest in the movie, but I noticed she took my hand in both of hers, and started reading my palm, and I said to her "you know how to read the future? that's incredibly cool!" (I didn't say it in a stupid way, I really meant it), and she looked into the palm of my hand, and then at me, and smiled, and then she vanished.
And I woke up.
Just had to write this somewhere before the memory fades. |
